EXPOSITION

ART CONTEMPORANI DE LA GENERALITAT VALENCIANA IV

In 2017 the Conselleria de Educació, Cultura i Esport started a campaign of acquisition of works of art with the aim of gathering a collection of representative pieces of the artistic current situation  in our Community, building a present heritage projected in the future and at the same time, contributing to the revitalization of the contemporary artistic field.
This exhibition meets together the 37 works acquired in 2020 with a balanced presence of artists from Castelló, Alicante and València, without generational guidelines or thematic limitations that consider questions of our closest society such as time and memory, feminist approaches, frictions between the mundane and the technological, the duality individual and society or the culture of sustainability.
