Espai d'art Contemporani de Castelló is an art centre with a mandate to embrace all the aesthetic and cultural expressions of today, a place encouraging a participative and engaged attitude on behalf of a society in which existing bonds between creativity and the everyday are being transformed, and a laboratory of ideas and projects whose goal is knowledge and a questioning of our time.

Since EACC first opened (June 1st 1999), it has hosted a large number of activities (conferences, conversations with artists, seminars, workshops, contemporary music concerts, film and video seasons) and exhibitions that give a good idea of the reach of its ambition.
The collaboration and support of Amigos del Espai [Friends of Espai] is of vital importance to ensure that this task continues into the future.
