CARTA BLANCA A ITZIAR OKARIZ

"Carta Blanca to Itziar Okariz" is an exhibition configured around sensibilities, references and moments from the work and life of Itziar Okariz.
Starting with an invitation that restores the classical conception of the exhibition space as a physical space through the oral, the artist invites Lorea Alfaro, Jon Mikel Euba, Mette Edvarsen, Violeta Mayoral, Jon Otamendi, Azucena Vieites, Ion Munduate, Martín Pena and Sergio Prego to engage in dialogue and contact on December 2nd.
This encounter, accompanied by memories, bodies, and works on different mediums such as voice, linoleum, or photographic paper, aims to activate transmission as a space in which to place the works. Transmission has been and continues to be one of the conceptual and methodological lines of Okariz's work. In this Carta Blanca, transmission becomes the supporting space where pieces are invoked from memory, from conversation, and transcend their tangible form.
