Contemporània@ 1999 A Visual Culture in Castellón

Keenly aware of the need to promote the work of artists who were born, reside or work in Castellón, each year the EACC offers an opportunity to show their works in the project Contemporània@. The artists and projects are chosen by a committee of experts formed by people born or residing in Castellón who are directly involved in the world of contemporary art and creation. The idea is to evaluate the creative designs whose form and content are awakening greatest interest in our surrounding environs. The five artists chosen for the first edition are a good indication of the state of visual creation from Castellón.
