New York Underground Cinema, 2nd edition

The 2nd edition of the series features films made in the second half of the 1970s, before the turn of the decade ushered in a new shift towards the ‘cinema of transgression’. On this occasion, the selection is more diverse – just as diverse as the city’s art scene itself, where painting, music, video art, poetry, performance and cinema intermingled. New York is the great stage that generates its own stories and inspires radical ways of shaping them. By Rafa Cervera
