Hypertronix Some Figures of Youth Culture

Proposed as an initial approach to the growing presence of formal and thematic elements traditionally associated with youth (sub)cultures in visual arts, Hypertronix shows how some of the creative essays operating within the statutes of the real have gained a specific place in today’s art scene. The realms of subjectivity and their processes of construction, a relationship with a broad cultural context and the increasing consequence and responsibility with the present on behalf of artists, is constituted in three central mechanisms of the exhibition and tie-in events organized to articulate its multiple extensions in the social.
